The H Series fireplaces have the ability to be operated using a remote or another in-home device. This is determined using a jumper cable on the IFC Control Module. See below to check for the jumper cable.
Tools needed:
-Small flat head screwdriver
Materials needed:
-14awg stranded wire
1. Remove the hearth tray by lifting it up and diagonally (Remove side panels first if installed) .
2. Inspect the jumper block on the IFC Control Module for the green jumper cable.
3. If the jumper cable is missing, install a 2.5"(63mm) 14awg(2.08mm2) gauge stranded wire into the jumper block using a small flathead screwdriver.
