There are a number of reasons why your mobile device may not connect to your fireplace.

Small flat head screwdriver
1. Make sure you are using the correct app for the fireplace. The correct app and how to connect will be mentioned in the installation manual. Compton's and E-Series use E-Touch. Halos use E-Smart. Note: newer models of the E-Series and Comptons may use E-Smart.
2. If using E-Touch:
- Make sure the fireplace is plugged in and turned on via the power switch on the top right of the fireplace.
- Make sure bluetooth and location services are enabled on your mobile device.
- When your device is searching for the fireplace, place the mobile device close to the bottom right of the fireplace. After a few seconds it should appear. Just select your fireplace to connect.
- Only one mobile device will be able to connect to this at a time. If you'd like to operate this fireplace on another mobile you will need to delete it from the first. To delete it, press and hold the fireplace listed on your app until it asks if you wish to delete. Then push delete.
- Try connecting on another mobile device.
- If you are still unable to connect. You may need a new PCB board.
3. If using E-Smart:
- Make sure the fireplace is plugged in and turned on via the power switch on the top right of the fireplace.
- Make sure WIFI is enabled on your mobile device.
- Does the fireplace emit a WIFI signal? If so, connect to it. Check with another mobile device if you do not see it.
- If you do not see the WIFI signal, ensure all of the wires are secure going to the PCB.
- You may need a new node. The node is a chip that plugs into the PCB board and generates the WIFI signal. Check for a blue flashing LED (not rapid) coming from the node.
