Suction Cup

Small Flathead Screwdriver

Double-sided tape

1. Ensure the fireplace is turned off.

2. Using a philips screwdriver, remove the two screws on either side of the bottom glass retaining bar.

3. Remove the retaining bar.

4. Using the provided suction cup, gently push up and pull the front glass towards you while supporting the glass with your other hand to remove it. (Note: do not use the suction cups to hold full weight of glass.) Refer to the Instruction Manual page 10 for further guidance

streaking step 4

5. Using a philips screwdriver, remove the screws from both ends (and in between depending on the fireplace) of the LED housing bar cover.

6. Pull the LED housing bar cover down and off. The double-sided tape for the LEDs might stick to the cover and require a little more force to remove it. (Note: LED housing assembly is not removed this way, just the cover.)

streaking step 6

7. Inspect the LEDs and ensure they are positioned as close to the rear screen as possible. Ensure they are also as flat up against the top surface as possible. If one LED strip is working properly, use it as a reference. Use your fingers or a small flathead screwdriver to move the LED strips. Be careful not to scratch the glass. The tape may need to be peeled off to remove and adjust the LEDs. If it is too difficult to adjust the LED strip, the rear screen can be removed (see step 8). Keep in mind the screen will need to be installed to test. Otherwise continue to step 9.

8. Follow these steps to remove the rear screen:

  1. Remove all logs and other media from the bed.
  2.  Remove the 2 screws (one on either side of the bed) securing the bed to the frame with a philips screwdriver.                                                                                         IMG_2909 circled
  3. Gently lift and pull the bed towards you while being mindful of the wires attached to it. Place the bed just outside the fireplace as shown below.                                                                              IMG_2914
  4. Remove the 2 side glass (depending on the fireplace).
  5. Attach the suction cup to the rear glass. Gently push up and pull towards you while supporting the weight of glass with your other hand.
  6. When adjustments to the LED strips and double-sided tape are complete, follow steps 1-5 in reverse.

9. Push the LED housing bar cover up back into position.

10. Install the two mounting screws on either side of the cover and in between depending on the fireplace.

11. Test fireplace for LED streaking. Use trial and error to achieve the least amount of streaking as possible. The cover needs to be installed with the screws before testing for streaking.

12. Using the suction cup, gently install the front glass. (Note: do not use the suction cups to hold full weight of glass.) Refer to the Instruction Manual page 10 for further guidance.

13. Install the front retaining bar using the 2 screws.
