This is a step by step on removing the back reflective glass and the effects screen to access flames and fans easily.
Step 1:
This step is assuming you have removed the front glass, media and hearth tray. You can find these steps by using this video:
Step 2:
Once step 1 is complete, you will be able to gain access to the hearth tray support bar. Remove the screw at the bottom of the silver brackets (red arrows below)
Remove the screws and take the hearth tray rack out. (pictured below
Step 3:
Remove side glass (if 3 sided or corner unit) by tipping it out from the bottom
Step 4:
Once glass is removed, the back reflective glass panel can now be removed. This is done by putting a suction cup on the center of the glass, lifting up slightly, then tipping it out from the bottom. (see picture for reference below)
**Be sure to move carefully and be patient**
Step 5:
Remove the effects screen by placing you hand behind it and pushing forward. This screen is flexible so it is easily removed.
You will now have full access to the flames, fans and anything else you need. (pictured below)
Step 6:
Reverse above steps to re-install all above parts.
