# HS - How do I sync my H Series remote to the fireplace?

## Sync your H Series remote and receiver with the steps below:

1\. Press the Red SW1 Button (pictured below) on the IFC Module. You will hear 3 fast beeps indicating the IFC board is ready to learn the remote code

2\. Did you hear the beep?

                **Yes:** Proceed to step 3

                **No:** Verify the fireplace has power. Attempt step 1. If no sound, replace the IFC board

3\. Quickly Press the ON/OFF power button on the remote control. You should now hear 4 beeps indication the receiver has learned the remotes unique code. 

4\. Did you hear the beeps?

                **Yes:** Remote has learned the receiver and should operate the fireplace 

                **No:** Make sure the remote has batteries.
