# FCS - Are the installation requirements for a gas burning Focus fireplace the same as wood burning?

## Yes, unless otherwise specified in the installation manual.

1\. All Focus fireplaces are imported as certified wood burning fireplaces. When we add our certified gas burner to the fireplace it is still installed as a wood burning fireplace. Please view the installation manual for more information.

2\. **All of the requirements in the installation manual must be met.**

3\. Please contact European Home Technical Support at 781-324-8383 Option 3 or e-mail service@europeanhome.com for further assistance.
