# FLR - Why won't my Flamerite fireplace turn on?

## There are a number of reasons why the Flamerite fireplace may not power on.

**Tools needed**:

-Remote control

-Philips head screw driver

-Small flat head screw driver

-Suction cup

-Voltmeter

 

1\. Is the fireplace plugged into a verified good 120 Volt power outlet? (Use a voltmeter to verify).

2\. Is the power switch, located in the front right corner switched to the "ON" position?

3\. Remove the hearth tray/fuel bed and inspect the electronics and wiring. Make sure the wires are all secure. Inspect the board and connectors for damage.
