There are gaps between flame ribbon sets because each set has its own fan and there are gaps between fans.
1. When an Evonic fireplace needs to use 2 or more fans, a gap is formed between them.
2. The flame ribbons will not move properly unless there is a fan beneath them.
3. The logs that come included with the fireplace, assembled in the configuration in the installation manual, are best to hide the gaps.
4. Media types and arrangements other than what is described in the installation manual may not hide the gaps.
