This is a step by step guide to pairing your Halo series fireplace to your mobile device.
Note: The E-SMART app uses WIFI and not Bluetooth (like the E-Touch app).
1. Make sure your fireplace is plugged in and switched on.
2. Download the E-Smart app from app store for your mobile device.
3. Open the WIFI settings on your mobile device and select and connect to the model of your fireplace (This is the WIFI signal broadcasted by the fireplace).
4. Open the E-SMART app and press the Settings icon.
5. Enter your e-mail and create a password under the IOT Registration section and press save.
6. Press the WIFI button, select your WIFI network, and enter your WIFI password.
7. Press save and connect.
8. You may need to wait a few minutes for this process to complete. The LEDs on the fireplace may also change color.
9. If the app shows no change after 5 minutes, force-close the app and re-open.
10. The fireplace is now connected to your WIFI and E-SMART app.
Note: The fireplace will stop broadcasting a WIFI signal once it has connected to your WIFI network.
