This is a step by step how to on replacing the tiles on a Compton electric Fireplace
Tools needed: 2 sided tape / Philips head screwdriver
Step 1 - Remove the screws on the metal panel on the back of the unit (pictured below)
Step 2 - Locate the screws holding the tile panel on the front underside of the fireplace. (black arrows in the picture below)
Step 3 - remove the screws holding the tile panel (pictured below)
Step 4 - remove the screw underneath the tile panel. (red arrow below)
At this point, you can remove the damaged tile by pulling it off. It is attached with 2 sided tape. Re-install the new tile with fresh 2 sided tape and reverse the steps above to install the new tile.
