# FLR - Trouble shooting the heater

## Below is one symptom to check for a non working heater

If the Heater is not Operating

When the glass is in place and in a straight vertical position, the holder for the heater mechanism will be in this position. Make sure this are as well as the trough the glass sits in is free of any debris to ensure the glass sits properly and the glass tilts in.

When the glass is tilted inward to activate the heater, the heater mechanism will be in this position.

With the glass in the vertical position when not colling for heat, there is a metal “arm” that acts as the switch to turn the heart on or off. When the glass is tilted inward, the metal arm or lever is pressed down activating the heat. You will hear a faint click when this the glass is tiled inward.

If you do not hear a click or the heater is not working you can bend the lever upward so that when the glass is tilted inward, the heater mechanism is in contact with the lever enough so you can hear a click.
